A great adventure film from director Joseph Kane The Sea Hornet
1944. Rod Cameron stars along with a great cast including Adele
Mara, Jim Davis, Adrian Booth and Chill Wills. This one never shows
up anywhere and is a great pic. Kane usually did westerns and did
an excellent job on this film.
Synopsis: Deep-sea diver Gunner McNeil's partner drowns under
mysterious circumstances, McNeil investigates, all the while
carrying out a salvage assignment for the lovely Suntan Radford.
The Sea Hornet is a vessel which was sunk during wartime while
carrying a fortune in gold. Someone is willing to commit murder to
claim the treasure for their own.
From a nice 16mm film transfer. Quality is 8.5 to 9. Comes in a
hardshell case w/artwork. Please specify DVD-R or DVD+R. No refunds
